Any compliance effort that focuses strictly on a given set of requirements to check off will not produce long-lasting success. Bio:
Dan is currently a Senior Security Engineer for Sourcefire Inc. Prior to joining Sourcefire in 2004, Dan was responsible for managing the information security team for Celera Genomics - the biotech firm that first mapped the human genome. In addition, Dan has consulted with many organizations including retail, education, entertainment, and has worked with a number of Fortune 1000 firms and State and Local government agencies to design and implement network security architectures..
