What does key management mean to you? Ask a crowd of IT managers and you’re likely to get as many different answers as there are people. But with encryption now a serious part of IT security strategies isn’t encryption key management important? What are we doing? In this session, learn more about the many different ways encryption keys are managed today. And as standards develop, which ones will be important and what will it mean for key management in the future. This session is especially important for those working to develop enterprise encryption strategies – from laptops, to databases, to tape backup.
Bio:
Kevin Bocek manages the storage encryption and key management product marketing team at nCipher. He has more than 11 years’ experience in IT security, including 5 years based in Germany and the United Kingdom. Working for leading enterprise solution providers, including PGP Corporation, RSA Security, and Xcert, Mr. Bocek has contributed to IT security projects from Finland to South Africa, Portugal to Russia.
At nCipher, Mr. Bocek and his team are responsible for defining and executing storage encryption and key management product marketing programs. Mr. Bocek has a B.S. in chemistry from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
