About the Event

Speaker: Mr. JD Sherry, Chief Strategy Officer

Organization name: Remediant

Remediant is a modernized privileged access company with a focus on stopping lateral movement and ransomware, while keeping deployment fast (single VM, ms per endpoint) and management lightweight (150,000 endpoints with 1 FTE). Remediant can wrap around existing vault solutions or completely replace, depending on your objectives.

We focus on authorization (what you can do) vs. authentication (who you are) for a big reason: it reduces the value of privileged credentials in the hands of an adversary. Even if an attacker is able to compromise an administrator's credentials, they will not be able to use the account to move laterally / steal information / compromise systems.

Subject/Title: PAM Over Brunch: A Weekend Rush Deployment & Using PAM for IR

Abstract of the Subject/Title:

How Privileged Access solutions can and should be used when it comes to Incident Response, supported by a case study of how a Fortune 500 medical device firm rapidly deployed PAM globally and contained a breach - all over a weekend.
